Natwijuka Gilbert Shoto is a Ugandan visual artist. He is majoring in Art and Industrial Design at Kyambogo University. He adopts the use of different media that includes water, acrylic and oil colours and charcoal. He also does other art disciplines, specifically in textiles and graphics. His work is a description and expression of Africa’s rich cultural values, inspired by the socio-economic lifestyle in the pure African setting, borrowed from the everyday lifestyle of an absolute African in an African way. His project is presented to the external and foreign communities and cultures, in the rest of Africa and beyond with an intention of spreading the positivity in the tribe and race at large.  His work in painting and drawing is done with a technique he called "They say I use soot”, composition of petroleum or oil and charcoal. Proceeds from his artwork sale will be used for Rehab Africa-Uganda Chapter to promote education, tolerance, and to inspire innovative and sustainable ideas towards economic stability and poverty eradication
